GROUP INSURANCE BENEFITS
During maternity leave, the employee shall be entitled to the following benefits
providing (1) she was normally entitled to such benefits and (2) she pays her
share of premiums:
The aforementioned benefits shall continue uninterrupted during the period of
time the employee is on maternity and/or parental leave provided that the
employee makes arrangements prior to commencing the leave to pay their share of
the benefit premiums for that.
IMPORTANT:
Prior to commencing the leave, the employee must provide their employer with
post-dated cheques to cover the costs of their portion of the benefit expenses.
